Job summary

The City of Roanoke seeks a Navigator Care Specialist to coordinate wraparound services for adults with opioid use disorder, funded by OAA grant funds. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology and two years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Two years related experience and/or training in counseling, case management, or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Screen for eligibility and develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans.
• Provide wraparound services and testif in court as required.
• Maintain case records and collaborate with courts, schools, and community providers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and perform data collection/analysis.
• Serve clients in Roanoke County and the City of Salem.
