Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners is hiring Veterinary Technicians at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital to support patient care in a high-quality, collaborative environment.

Successful candidates will have RVT credentials, strong anesthetic monitoring, and practical lab skills. You will work closely with a compassionate team to deliver exceptional client service and patient outcomes in a busy practice setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring.
• Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens.
• Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Understanding of normal vs abnormal physiologic ranges.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ophthalmologic exams.
• Perform specialized diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain intraocular pressures.
• Measure blood pressure using Doppler.
• Document history and updates in medical records.
• Provide client education on at-home care.
• Assist in anesthetic and sedated procedures.
• Maintain accurate treatment sheets.
• Take radiographs and obtain/send blood samples for testing.
