Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks an Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician to diagnose and treat ophthalmic diseases in companion animals, assist with procedures, and support surgeries from routine to complex cases.

You will help with diagnostic testing, assist anesthesia when needed, educate clients, and maintain specialized ophthalmic equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Ophthalmology veterinary technician with interest in ophthalmic care.
• Willingness to assist in diagnostic tests and surgeries.
• Experience or interest in veterinary anesthesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ophthalmic diagnostic tests and assist with detailed ocular exams.
• Set up and assist with procedures and surgeries in ophthalmology, from outpatient to complex surgeries.
• Educate clients on their pet's ocular disease and care, and maintain ophthalmic equipment.
