Job summary

Fortrea seeks an Ophthalmology Senior Clinical Research Associate with 5+ years of monitoring experience in the Colorado, Nevada, or Utah region. This role involves on-site monitoring, patient safety, data integrity, and SAE processing with substantial travel expectations.

You will conduct pre-study and initiation visits, manage site activities per project plans, and coordinate with vendors. A fast-paced, team-driven environment is expected, with technology-enabled data entry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of clinical monitoring experience.
• Oncology experience, early phase preferred.
• 30–50% overnight travel could be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of site monitoring, routine monitoring, and close-out of clinical sites.
• Manage site responsibilities per project plans and close collaboration with vendors.
• Ensure proper informed consent procedures and protocol adherence.
• Verify data integrity on CRFs and sources; monitor for data quality issues.
• Coordinate registry management tasks and feasibility work as requested.
• Support training of new staff and act as local client contact as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
