Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Ophthalmology Physician for locum tenens in Danville, PA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and some call. Civilian practice includes comprehensive retina and ophthalmology care in an outpatient clinic using Epic EMR.

Board Certification and PA licensure are required, with BLS certification per AHA standards. The assignment starts ASAP with ~90 days credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania medical license required.
• Board Certification required.
• Experience in retina/ophthalmology care.
• EMR: Epic is used for charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive retina and ophthalmology care, including diagnosis and treatment of ocular and retinal diseases.
• Outpatient clinic setting with 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and call coverage.
• Collaborate with care teams and document in Epic EMR.

This facility is seeking a Ophthalmology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; flexible hours if needed. Scheduled clinical hours plus call.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic.
• Types of Cases: Comprehensive retina and ophthalmology care, including diagnosis and treatment of ocular and visual disorders, retinal disease management, diagnostic testing, medical and surgical eye care.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensure Required: Active Pennsylvania medical license.
• Additional Requirements: Board Certified.
