Job summary

Perlman Center for Eye & Eyelids Surgery in Woodland, CA is seeking a team-oriented staff member to support physicians in a small, busy ophthalmology practice.

The role includes pretesting, patient intake, eye pressure checks, dilations, documentation in EHR, and occasional independent testing (OCT, visual fields) or forms.

Qualifications

• Medical knowledge and ophthalmic/optometry experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Ability to multitask in a small busy office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and pretesting.
• Record review of systems, family history, medications, chief complaints, eye pressure, and dilations.
• Support physicians and other departments; handle testing like OCTs and Visual Fields when needed.
• Assist with filling prescriptions and DMV or disability forms as required.

Small & busy Ophthalmology/Optometry office in Woodland.

Spanish speaking preferred. Two year commitment. The position is Monday- Friday from 8-5.

Job Summary

This position is a approximately 35-40 hours per week. Start patients encounters for doctor’s schedule.

Pretesting, taking review of systems, family history, medications, chief complaints, eye pressure and dilating patients in preparation for the doctors to see patients. Assist other departments when there is down time, optical or front desk. Some days you will work independently for testing such as OCTs, Visual Fields, biometry measurements, filling prescriptions, completing disability or DMV forms, etc.
