Qualifications

• Three years of diversified experience in hospital Patient Registration/Financial Services.
• Strong interpersonal, communications and human relations skills.
• Accurate and efficient keyboarding, strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families, perform registration and assist in check-in processes.
• Answer phones, take messages and verify insurance information.
• Calculate patient liability and collect deposits and co-payments.
• Provide financial counseling and explain billing options and resources.
• Assist with authorization verification and documentation in patient records.
• Support the care team as a liaison to maximize reimbursement and service quality.
