Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Ophthalmology Assistant to support ophthalmology providers and patients in a fast-paced clinic. You will assist with examinations, coordinate referrals, and perform ophthalmology-specific tests while maintaining accurate records and patient education.

Qualifications include Medical Assistant certification and strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist ophthalmology providers with patient care and examinations.

  • Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance.
  • Support patient scheduling and follow-up care; maintain exam rooms and equipment.
  • Monitor supply inventories and educate patients as needed.
