University of California - Los Angeles Health seeks a full‑time, junior to mid‑level Ophthalmologist to support UCLA Mobile Eye Clinic and department clinics. You will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care across diverse settings and help expand access to vision services throughout Los Angeles.

You will perform vision screenings, exams, refractions, and collaborate with residents and fellows while engaging with families and community partners.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Ophthalmology.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited ophthalmology residency.
• Active/Eligible California medical license.
• Demonstrated interest in clinical outreach and community‑based care.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional ophthalmic services in community settings and UCLA clinics.
• Deliver comprehensive eye exams and refractions for pediatric and adult patients.
• Assist with ordering prescription eyeglasses for vision programs.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff on exams and refractions.
• Collaborate with residents and fellows and participate in teaching medical students and volunteers.
• Engage with patients, families, educators, and partners to address vision questions and ongoing care.
