Comprehensive Mobile Care in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a part-time bilingual Optician/Medical Assistant to support senior outpatient clinics across LA County. You will assist the optometrist with patient intake and basic testing, help with eyewear selection, and ensure safety protocols while delivering compassionate care to seniors and underserved communities.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician preferred
Bi-lingual proficiency required (Spanish/English)
Medical assisting experience is a plus
Experience serving geriatric or senior populations preferred
Strong OSHA and infection control knowledge

Responsibilities

Assist the optometrist with patient intake, visual screenings, and basic diagnostic testing
Communicate clearly with patients in both Spanish and English
Assist with eyewear selection, adjustments, fittings, and basic repairs
Set up, break down, and maintain portable optometry equipment
Follow sterilization, safety, and infection control protocols
Complete basic documentation, charting, and administrative tasks
Represent CMC with professionalism and compassion
