Job summary

Horizoneye in Charlotte, NC seeks a Special Testing Technician to assist ophthalmologists by performing Humphrey automated perimetry and advanced imaging. You will operate NextGen EHR/EPM, manage patient information, and ensure accurate charting and billing.

The role requires meticulous testing, device calibration, and coordination across testing rooms and branches. Travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of eye anatomy related to testing.
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Humphrey perimetry and diagnostic imaging as required.
• Maintain equipment, calibrate devices, and ensure room readiness.
• Enter data in NextGen EHR/EPM and manage patient records.
• Venipuncture for Fluorescein and ICG Angiography.
• Travel between branches as needed.
