Job summary

DocTrials in Gilbert, AZ seeks a part-time Ophthalmic Technician/Visual Acuity Examiner to support clinical trials on-site. You will perform manual refractions and acuity assessments, pursue certification, and help with patient acquisition and scheduling.

Ideal candidates have Snellen/ETDRS experience, strong patient care skills, and readiness to travel to multiple clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Snellen/ETDRS visual acuity and refraction.
• Proven ability to engage with patients and deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual refractions and visual acuity assessments on patients for all clinical trials on site.
• Dissect procedure manuals to gain proper certification and maintain documents.
• Assist with patient acquisition, prescreening, and scheduling screening visits.
• Support clinic flow and travel to multiple Phoenix valley locations as needed.
