Retina Vitreous Associates in Mansfield, OH is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician. Training is provided; no prior ophthalmic or medical experience required.

You will assist the doctor with preliminary testing, manage patient flow, verify insurances, and handle inquiries. This full-time role includes benefits, travel to our Columbus office as needed with mileage reimbursement, and shifts within Monday–Friday 7:30am–5pm; occasional earlier/later as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow and assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify patient information and insurance details.
• Communicate with patients, doctors and managers; answer inquiries via phone, email or in person.
