Qualifications

• Completion of an approved ophthalmic technician program.
• Minimum one year of experience as Ophthalmic Technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform complex clinical diagnostic eye examinations and procedures as delegated by the ophthalmology team.
• Complete ophthalmic imaging tests ordered by physicians (Amler tests; Tonometry; Visual Field testing).
• Manage patient intake, perform routine technical procedures, administer topical medications, assist with procedures.
• Maintain proactive, professional communication to support smooth workflow and positive department representation.
