US Eye is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our surgical practice in Kinston, NC. You’ll develop strong connections with patients, provide compassionate care, and support the physician with examinations and testing.

The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, a medical background is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Travel to other locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional environment with strong customer service focus.
• Previous experience in the medical field preferred.
• High school or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Perform scribing, patient work‑up and vision testing as directed.
• Assist physicians in the examination room and during procedures.
• Conduct refractions and administer OCT/visual field testing.
• Learn and apply ophthalmic terminology and clinical workflow.
