Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Ophthalmic Technician experience.
• Multi-specialty clinic experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication with patients, staff, managers, and doctors.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Energetic with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel to other offices occasionally.
• Must be able to stand/walk for eight hours.
• COA/OSC/COT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and establish rapport.
• Perform pre-exam testing and document medical history according to guidelines.
• Conduct vision screening tests and basic ophthalmic measurements.
• Assist physicians during minor procedures and laser treatments.
• Help with fitting contact lenses and patient instruction.
• Maintain supplies and sterilize instruments.
• Travel to other office locations as needed.
