Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in ophthalmology, preferred.
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides ophthalmic care to patients and assists physicians.
• Conducts history taking and preliminary examinations and tests.
• Prepares patients for exams and communicates results to physician.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and medical records.
• Assists with minor procedures and sterilization of instruments.
• Maintains exam room stock and equipment.
