Tukel Eye Center in Dearborn, MI is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists in patient testing and exam prep. This full-time, on-site role requires handling testing equipment and EMR data entry, while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of related ophthalmic experience or training.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Greet patients promptly with a smile and thank them when they leave.
• Anticipate Physician needs to facilitate clinic flow.
• Record patient information and medical history in EMR.
• Prepare patients for treatments and assist with exams.
