Job summary

ReFocus Eye Health in Salisbury, MD is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing ophthalmology team. You will gather patient information, perform preliminary exams, and assist with diagnostic testing and minor procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
• Certification: COA preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather comprehensive patient information with ophthalmologists for accurate diagnoses and personalized plans.
• Conduct preliminary ophthalmic testing including visual acuity, pupils, and related exams.
• Administer diagnostic tests such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
• Assist in minor surgeries and laser procedures.
• Help manage patient flow in clinics and imaging rooms; assist with administrative tasks.
