Kentucky Eye Institute, part of EyeSouth Partners, is seeking an ophthalmic technician to support physicians by gathering ocular health data and performing clinical tests. The role includes data entry into EMR, assisting with examinations, and patient education in a high-volume setting across multiple Kentucky locations.
The ideal candidate has ophthalmic technician experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsible for assisting the ophthalmologist and optometrists by gathering data pertaining to the patient’s ocular health status. The ophthalmic technician is proficient in performing appropriate clinical tests, drawing on formal education and/or clinical experience that provide a solid understanding of the theory and principles of eye care.
