Job summary

Eye Health America LLC and its Carolina Centers for Sight affiliate seek an ophthalmic technician to support doctors during eye examinations across our Southeast clinics. Travel to multiple locations may be required; overtime may be possible.

You will gather medical records, perform vision tests, take ocular measurements, assist with procedures, and maintain instruments while delivering patient-focused care. Requires two years of ophthalmic experience; driver’s license and training provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience and/or Ophthalmic Assistant. Certification preferred, but not required.
• Active and Valid Driver's License.
• Adequate training will be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Gathering medical records and patient information.
• Taking ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional.
• Administering or preparing medications.
• Providing eye care and contact lens information to the patient.
• Maintaining and cleaning ophthalmic instruments.
• Assisting the doctors in basic procedures.

Education

Ophthalmic Assistant Certification (preferred)
