Job summary

Eye Health America’s Carolina Centers for Sight affiliate seeks an ophthalmic technician to support eye examinations. Duties include patient workups, vision tests, data collection, and assisting doctors across multiple clinic locations as needed. Travel and overtime may be required.

Two years of ophthalmic experience are preferred; certification is a plus. A valid driver’s license is required, and training will be provided on hire. Join a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in ophthalmic settings; certification preferred but not required.
• Active and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Gather medical records and patient information.
• Take ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional.
• Administer or prepare medications.
• Provide eye care information to patients and contact lens guidance.
• Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments.
• Assist doctors in basic procedures.
