Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners in Cedar Park, TX is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists in diagnosing and treating eye conditions. You will perform specialized eye exam testing and assist with patient flow, while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

  • One year experience as ophthalmic technician required.
  • One year experience in a customer facing position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.
  • Other diagnostic testing may include: Visual fields, OCT, Corneal Topography, Venipuncture, etc.
  • May assist with inventory of ophthalmic supplies, including pharmaceuticals and instruments on a regular basis.
  • Provides phone support with requests for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
  • Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as HIPPA guidelines, to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • May perform other duties as necessary.
