Job summary

Eye Health Vision in Fall River, MA is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support eye care teams with patient preparation, history taking and basic screening tests. You will assist physicians, prepare rooms and maintain equipment in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Training is provided for testing procedures and instrument calibration; occasional travel to other locations is required to support clinical operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Ability to learn and operate EHR systems and ophthalmic instruments.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical and eye history and document using the EHR system.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms and assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform screening and testing to prepare patients for exams (training provided).
• Calibrate and maintain ophthalmic instruments; travel to other locations as needed.
