Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an ophthalmic or eye care setting preferred.
• Must obtain COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) certificate within one year of hire.
• Experience performing pre-testing and using ophthalmic equipment strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists by performing patient pre-testing, diagnostic procedures, and clinical tasks.
• Record medical histories and prepare patients for exams.
