Job summary

You will prepare patients, perform screening and threshold visual field tests, assist with contact lens fitting, ensure equipment is functional, and help maintain patient flow across clinic sites.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• COA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical history and assist with examinations.
• Assist physicians by administering patient care as directed.
• Prepare patients for office procedures and assist with contact lens fitting.
• Perform lensometry, auto refraction, keratometry, and intraocular biometry.
• Conduct visual field screening with automated perimeter.
• Inspect and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Support patient education and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Travel to satellite clinics as needed.
