Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) after two years on the job required.

• Proficient and accurate computer typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the physician with examination procedures and other patient care activities as requested.
• Oversees the efficient flow of patients through the eye clinic, assuring resources are sufficient for scheduled patients.
• Performs lensometry and intraocular pressure assessments with applanation tonometry.
