Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) after two years on the job required.
• Two years of clinical/healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examination procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient flow through the eye clinic to ensure efficiency.
• Perform lensometry and tonometry per physician instructions.
• Instill dilating drops as directed by physicians.
• Maintain stocked exam rooms and provide patient education materials.
