SVS Vision, Inc. seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to provide clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry, aiming to increase patient satisfaction and improve exam efficiency. The role reports to the Professional Services Department in a team‑oriented environment.

You will perform refraction, various eye tests, history reviews, and essential measurements while ensuring accurate documentation and strong patient care.

Qualifications

• Proficient with common computer applications and basic EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in improving exam efficiency and patient experience.
• Communicate with retail office management and staff.
• Prepare the clinic day and stay organized.
• Perform refraction and related optical tests.
• Conduct case history reviews and vitals.
• Operate non-contact tonometry and auto-refractor.
• Administer eye drops and screen visual fields.
• Support OD with procedures within scope.
• Hand off patient care to the OD.
