Job summary

Azul Vision, Inc. is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician in Mission Viejo, CA. You will perform patient workups, pre-testing, contact patients, and assist with minor procedures in a fast-paced ophthalmology clinic.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years in ophthalmology; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, COA/COT preferred, and experience with EHR systems is a plus. This is an in-office position with travel up to 50% across LA and OC locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform patient workups including medical and surgical history and diagnostic testing.
• Pre-test according to office policy; manage patient flow and schedule.
• Triage phone calls and forward to appropriate staff.
• Assist in minor procedures and prepare patients for laser treatments.
• Prepare paperwork for surgeries and document education in charts.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and assist in back/front office duties.
