Job summary

IQ Laser Vision in California is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our fast-paced, patient-focused clinic. You will support doctors, take patient history, operate diagnostic equipment, and help prepare patients for surgery, delivering exceptional care and accurate imaging.

Training is provided; entry-level candidates with strong customer service are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, in-person position with benefits and salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Vietnamese or Spanish.
• Willingness to learn and follow lead.
• Quick learner.

• Dependability / punctuality.
• Availability on some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history.
• Use Autorefractor, Magellan, Galilei, and Pachymetry.
• Set up and refill supplies in the exam rooms.
• Organize the exam rooms and diagnostic room throughout the clinic day.
• Perform temporary tear plug for patient.
• Prepare patient for surgery.
• Perform exams and image tests for Cataract patients.
• Use Optos to capture images of the back of the eye.
• Other duties as assigned.
