Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake including ocular history, medical history, medications and allergies (20%).
• Run routine ophthalmic tests and imaging (IOP, basic motility, visual fields, PAM/BAT tests, A-scan USN, fundus photography, pupillary assessment).
• Assist physician during in-office diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, including instrumentation and sterile prep.
• Administer topical ophthalmic medications or diagnostic drops as required.
• Educate patients about prescribed treatments.
• Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and surgeries (20%).
