We began our practice in 1981 out of a small office in Warwick, and now we have eight locations spanning Warwick, Cranston, North Kingstown, Wakefield, and Woonsocket. Our dedicated team of ophthalmologists and optometrists is devoted to providing top‑notch, stress‑free care to our patients.

The Ophthalmic Technician performs a range of duties which includes preparing the patient to see Attending Physician (preliminary exam, medical history, & testing), preparation of examination and treatment rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• ObtainmedicalandeyehistoryfrompatientanddocumentinformationusingtheEHRsystem
• Prepareexaminationandtreatmentrooms
• Performscreeningandtesting(willtrain)topreparethepatientfordoctor'sexamincludingvisual acuity, color vision testing, auto-lensometry, autorefraction, tonometry, Amsler grid, pupil evaluation, and other testing as needed
• Willtraintomaintainandcalibrateophthalmicandsurgicalinstruments
• Musthaveaclearunderstandingofcompanypoliciesincludingthecompanymanual
• You will be required to travel to other location for business needs.
