Kleiman Evangelista Eye Centers of Texas is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician in Southlake, TX. The role trains in a busy ophthalmology clinic and supports doctors with preliminary testing and patient prep. You will handle patient history, vision concerns, and documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Ophthalmic Technician preferred in an ophthalmology setting.
• Strong customer service skills and patient-facing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in testing and data capture.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical eye exams with the clinician by performing preliminary testing.
• Complete prior authorizations for patient medications as needed.
• Utilize the EHR to capture patient history and vision concerns.
• Support the clinic by delivering outstanding patient experiences and teamwork.
