Job summary

Kleiman Evangelista Eye Centers of Texas is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician in Southlake, TX. Training is available, and you will support clinicians by performing preliminary tests and using the EHR system to document patient history.

You will manage prior authorizations and contribute to outstanding patient experiences while collaborating with team members in a fast-paced ophthalmology clinic.

Qualifications

• Previous Ophthalmic Technician experience – ophthalmology setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical eye exams with the clinician by completing preliminary testing.
• Complete prior authorizations for patient medications.
• Utilize EHR system to capture patient history and vision concerns.
• Support patient experiences and clinic mission by being collaborative with patients and teammates.
