Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to assist ophthalmologists in diagnosing and treating eye conditions across multiple practices. You will perform specialized tests and help streamline patient flow while supporting inventory and prescription refill requests.

The role requires at least one year of ophthalmic technician experience and a preference for COA certification. Strong customer service, privacy compliance, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• One year experience as an ophthalmic technician required.
• One year experience in a customer facing position preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; COA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized eye exam testing and assist ophthalmologists.
• Support patient flow and administrative tasks across locations.
• Handle inventory of ophthalmic supplies and instruments; process prescription refills as directed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality and privacy.

They perform various clinical and technical duties to ensure the efficient delivery of eye care services.All 5 locations. Work Hours: 7:30AM to 4:30PM closing days 8AM to 5PMRoles and ResponsibilitiesAbility to perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.Other diagnostic testing may include: Visual fields, OCT, Corneal Topography, Venipuncture, etc..May assist with inventory of ophthalmic supplies, including pharmaceuticals and instruments on a regular basis.Provides phone support with request for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as HIPPA guidelines, to maintain patient confidentially and privacy.May perform other duties as necessaryExperience RequirementsOne year experience as an ophthalmic technician requiredOne year experience in a customer facing position preferredEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredCertified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification preferredPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
