The role requires familiarity with ophthalmic diagnostics (OCT, photography) and strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Ability to perform indirect activities and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient information for accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Perform preliminary ophthalmic testing: visual acuity, pupillary responses, etc.
• Administer diagnostic tests such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
• Assist ophthalmologists during minor surgeries and laser procedures.
• Streamline patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms with staff coordination.
• Administer eye drops per certification.
• Support administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Your Impact:

• Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
• Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
• Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
• Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
• Administer eye drops: (Certification Required)
• Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
