The Eye Center of St. Augustine, part of EyeSouth Partners, invites a Surgical Technician to support surgeons by preparing, maintaining and anticipating instrument and procedural needs for all surgeries in our state-of-the-art center.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, holds a current BCLS certification, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive team focused on exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Maintains current BCLS certification and completion of required annual in-services
• Ability to work in a surgery center environment with patient contact, hazardous chemicals, and infection control
• Fast-paced surgical setting requiring speed, accuracy and priority-setting
• Strong manual dexterity, mobility and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Obtaining supplies from other areas as needed
• Returning supplies and equipment to the appropriate location
• Assisting in keeping the Central Sterile area neat and orderly
• Effecting handling health or safety hazards for self and patients
• Reporting any unusual occurrences or incidents accurately to the Clinical Director
• Performing other duties as required
