Job summary

Ascend Vision Partners, Lakeside Surgery Center, is seeking a certified or non-certified full-time Surgical Technician to support a four-room ambulatory Ophthalmology center. You will assist surgeons, sterilize equipment, and maintain a sterile operating room environment to ensure top-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of up-to-date surgical technology and medical terminology.
• Ability to create and maintain a sterile field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating room for surgery and ensures sterile environment.
• Sterilizes and maintains surgical instruments and equipment.
• Positions patients and applies sterile drapes for procedures.
• Assists with patient transport to and from the operating room.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and surgical staff during operations.
• Maintains accurate records of supplies and procedures.
• Monitors operating room conditions and strives for patient safety.
