Job summary

Panorama Eyecare in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team on a PRN basis. You will prep the OR, pass instruments, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgeon during ophthalmic procedures.

The role requires completion of a Surgical Technologist program, licensure preferred, BLS within 3 months, and a commitment to infection control and patient safety. Shifts are variable, with 6–10 hour days at our ASC location.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Surgical Technologist program and be familiar with sterile technique.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures, terminology, and instrument handling.
• BLS certification within 3 months is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR, equipment, and supplies for ophthalmic procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Pass instruments and maintain situational awareness of surgeon's needs.
• Ensure proper instrument counts and infection control throughout cases.
• Assist with room turnover, sterilization, and instrument processing.
• Support Materials Management and other OR team members as needed.
