Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in surgical technology preferred.
• Graduate from a recognized surgical technology program or completed military training in surgical technology required.
• Illinois: High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years working as a Surgical Technologist may be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team members in providing intraoperative care.
• Prepare and monitor equipment and pass instruments.
• Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures.
• Assist with patient transfer/positioning as needed.
• Perform a variety of surgical skills and procedures as required.
