Eye Surgery Center of New Albany is seeking a Scrub Technician / Surgical Technician to join our on-site team. This part-time role supports surgeons, nurses, and assistants in the operating room, ensuring instruments are sterile, prepared, and available for procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of hospital main operating room experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in surgical operations under supervision of Surgeons, RNs and Surgical Assistants.
• Keeps operating room organized and compliant with sterile technique and procedures.
• Prepares and passes instruments to surgical staff.
• Maintains records on medications used and specimens collected.
• Operates OR equipment and prepares patient for surgery.
