Job summary

ReFocus Eye Health in Bloomfield, CT seeks a detail-oriented Ophthalmic Scribe to document patient encounters in real time, supporting physicians and improving clinic efficiency.

You’ll need a high school diploma, medical setting experience (ophthalmology preferred), strong data entry/typing, EMR proficiency, and excellent interpersonal communication. • Experience in a medical setting, preferably ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Documentation: Accurately document patient visits in real time into the EMR.
• Physician Collaboration: Work with physicians to complete and submit medical records.
• Patient Interaction & Screening: Conduct basic ocular screenings and collect patient history.
• Efficient Patient Flow: Support smooth clinic flow.
• Patient Education: Explain physician instructions to patients.
