Mittleman Eye Center in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring a Medical Scribe to document patient visits in real time into the electronic health record (EHR) under physician supervision. You will ensure accuracy, note discrepancies, and support the clinical team.

The role requires completing medical terminology, EMR proficiency, and strong attention to detail while working with physicians and staff in a fast-paced ophthalmology practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with healthcare exposure or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree plus 3 years in healthcare is acceptable.
• Medical assistant program is a plus.
• Specialized certifications COA, COT, COMT with 2+ years of experience acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians.
• Listen, observe, and accurately document real-time patient-provider interactions.
• Record detailed information into the EMR on a laptop or computer during exams.
• Transcribe diagnoses, medications, allergies, and test results as directed by physicians.
• Assist with room loading and other duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
