Job summary

Luxottica, a global leader in ophthalmic lenses, frames and sunglasses, is seeking a Production Technician in the Columbus area. You will support the production department, help meet productivity and quality targets, and contribute to data management using Excel and Access.

Responsibilities include training technicians, promoting a safe production environment, leading operators to maintain production integrity, and analyzing production trends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Resolves practical problems in variable production scenarios.
• Performs tasks per Master Task List.
• Provides training to technicians on plant operations.
• Promotes safe and healthy production environment and safe work practices.
• Leads and directs operators to ensure production integrity.
• Creates production graphs and analyzes production trends using Aries, DSS, Excel and Access.
