Eye Associates of New Mexico seeks an Ophthalmic Photographer I to join our busy practice on a full-time, on-site basis. The role focuses on high-quality diagnostic photography and documentation to assist physicians in diagnosing ocular conditions.

Expect a high-volume workflow with patient care and equipment maintenance as core responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of ophthalmic photography experience, a HS diploma, and relevant certifications; additional phlebotomy credentials are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years’ ophthalmic photography experience preferred.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or other certifications preferred; obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Certified phlebotomy technician certificate preferred.

Responsabilités

• Imaging procedures include fundus photography, OCT, topography, A-scan/B-scan, pachymetry, and more.
• Administer dilation/numbing drops as appropriate and manage patient safety.
• Document interpretations and charges accurately; maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Travel to multiple Eye Associates of New Mexico clinic locations as needed.
• Produce prints/discs and archive files to patient records.
