Job summary

Eye Health America LLC is seeking a diligent operating room assistant to support surgeons and nurses during ophthalmic procedures. The role involves room setup, instrument handling, sterile technique, and maintaining supplies to ensure smooth patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• One or more years of related work experience in the operating room.
• Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing the operating room for the planned procedure.
• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies.
• Sets up sterile operating field with instruments and supplies per standards.
• Observes aseptic technique and reports issues to the circulating nurse and surgeon.
• Passes instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assistants as needed.
• Ensures instruments and supplies are removed from the field after procedures.
