Vision Innovation Partners is seeking an experienced ophthalmic operations leader to oversee daily clinic functions, staffing, and workflow to ensure optimal patient care. The role emphasizes strong leadership, regulatory compliance, and commitment to outstanding patient experiences.

You will supervise technicians and staff, coordinate schedules, and drive improvements in efficiency and patient satisfaction while collaborating with providers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and motivating a team in a healthcare setting.
• Strong staff relations and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, nursing, or related field.
• Ophthalmic/licensure preferred (Certified Ophthalmic Technician or similar).
• Ability to concentrate and follow instructions with high attention to detail.
• Proven leadership, diplomacy, and communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily clinical operations by reviewing schedules and allocating space.
• Improves patient experience by resolving complaints and following up for satisfaction.
• Trains and guides clinical staff; oversees performance reviews.
• Reviews reports to optimize clinic workflow and reduce waste.
• Coordinates maintenance of clinical equipment and supports timely repairs.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures policy compliance.
• Maintains high standards of customer service and patient care.
• Keeps lines of communication open with staff to maintain morale.
• Develops relations with providers and meets management targets.
• Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Candidated must have prior experience working as an Ophthalmic Technician.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

• Manages daily clinical operations by reviewing patient, physician, and technician schedules, assigning clinical space usage by a physician, monitors clinic flow and interfacing with facility staff.
• Enhances and improves patient experience investigating patient complaints, draws conclusions, and contacts patients for satisfaction resolutions.
• Provides training and guidance to clinical staff; oversees performance reviews and monitors daily routine of technical staff; trains new technical staff.
• Reviews reports to determine clinic needs and verifies clinic workflows; identifies areas of waste and opportunities for efficiency.
• Oversees clinical equipment maintenance by coordinating a maintenance program with clinical staff for timely repairs and proper functioning.
• Manages day-to-day operations of the practice and supervises physicians and staff following company policies and procedures.
• Ensures the highest degree of customer service and patient quality care is maintained at all times.
• Ensures compliance with standard medical practice to manage and minimize risk.
• Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere.
• Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.
• Develops and maintains rapport and positive relationships with providers.
• Meets operational goals set by management.
• Hours-Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience with effective hiring and motivating and managing a team.
• Strong staff relations skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Health Administration, Nursing, or related healthcare field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Ophthalmic Technician licensure or another medical licensure preferred.
• Must have the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when receiving instructions from physicians or others, reading and interpreting procedures and related materials; examining and closely inspecting materials when using equipment; and working one-on-one with patients.
• Leadership qualities, diplomacy, discretion, ability to enforce difficult positions, excellent communication, public speaking skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite; in particular Excel.
