Qualifications

• Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Follows safety and sterility procedures in the OR.
• Maintains accurate records and logs as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with instrumentation during surgical procedures.
• Prepare the room with instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment.
• Complete counts for instruments, sponges and needles and report discrepancies.
• Sterilize, clean and process instruments and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members.
