Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Ophthalmic Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to support the Ophthalmology Imaging team at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This per diem role involves performing diagnostic imaging and assisting patients through procedures to aid physicians in documentation, diagnosis, and treatment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, and preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field or 1+ year ophthalmic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or 1+ year ophthalmic imaging experience.
• Credentials COA, COT, COMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging tests (topography, OCT, fundus photography, angiography, and related procedures).
• Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment.
• Prepare rooms and ensure testing areas are clean and organized.
